Project Description
The concept of users applying meta-data to content can seem a little dry. Even with the free text tagging of folksonomies there is only a limited set of participants who will actively tag content for other people’s use. Step in “Tag Match”. Very simply, this is a game that makes applying meta-data fun, playful and competitive.It is a back channel game that could run in parallel with any folksonomy. It is intended to encourage innovative and wide use of tags within the parent content system, by promoting competition in a parallel game environment. The social competition there maximising the effectiveness of the front end navigation.
