ICDC - ShareView
Project Description
ShareView is all about enabling communication between consumers of BBC content. As we move towards an on-demand model for entertainment, we may lose the social aspect that the traditional system offers. Groups of workmates discussing the latest soap opera developments and new shows may become a thing of the past as on-demand services allow them to watch the program at different times. ShareView empowers people to create groups and networks of friends or fellow fans and synchronously schedule and enjoy their consumption of BBC content. Clubs or groups of like-minded people can share their cherished shows and discover new BBC favourites.
