Matthew Cashmore
Development Producer, BBC Research & Innovation

Matthew Cashmore is the Development Producer for BBC Research & Innovation. He co-runs the backstage.bbc.co.uk project; the BBC's developer network designed to encourage innovation and support new talent. Matthew is also responsible for the planning and running of projects such as Innovations Labs, a regional initiative inviting independent new media & vision companies to respond to briefs set by the corporation. In addition Matthew was the BBC Producer of Hack London 2007 an event run in partnership with Yahoo! to open up APIs from both organisations to developers across Europe.

Frank Boyd
Unexpected Media

Frank Boyd has worked on a series of innovative programmes to support creative, social and economic development in the UK’s new media sector since founding the Arts Technology Centre (Artec) in 1989. He established the European Multimedia Labs, the Digital Media Alliance and BAFTA’s Interactive Entertainment Awards before joining the BBC Innovation and Learning team as Director of Creative Development in 2000.
He is currently working with Creative London on a series of initiatives to encourage growth in London digital media industries including the London Games Festival and a new A/V market, Rights Lab. He has designed the Innovation Labs programme and leads the mentoring teams in the pilot series.

Jonathan Kingsbury
Head of External Supply, BBC Future Media & Technology

Jon Kingsbury manages the BBC’s relationships with the new media industry. His mission is to champion the use of external new media suppliers across the BBC and to make it easier for them to work with the BBC to deliver innovative new media services. Jon also acts as a new media "talent scout" for the BBC, running the BBC's approved supplier list. Prior to his current role, Jon was responsible for the quality of content across bbc.co.uk. Before he was at the BBC, Jon was editor of www.channel4.com working with a wider variety of new media production companies.

Morag Cartwright
Innovation Coordinator, BBC New Media

Morag works across a wide range of projects within the Innovation team at the BBC. As well as the Innovation Labs, these include BBC Backstage and Participate as well as internal innovation such as 'One in Ten' a recent initiative within Interactive TV based upon Google's 20%.
