BBC Broadband

Jonathan Oldhams

I have enclosed the full details about my entry within the 'Project Cenception' section of my submitted entry available from the design image link.

My final design focuses on using interactive technolgies at the core of BBC services. I havent placed much attention on personalisation throughout the design. While this is important for a majority of users, I felt placing focus on achieving a well presented layout and content prioritisation would allow greater flexability in the maintenance and running of the site while allowing instant interaction for non regular users of BBC online services.

Impressive, however designing a site entirely in Flash is a bad idea. However the overall layout is good and could be recreated in HTML.

Yes, it does look nice - I like the top bar especially. But I'd prefer it not to be flash.

well, Thanks everyone for all your posts.

I just wanted to say, allthough included in my 'Project Overview', That i submitted my final design in flash format as i thought it would provide some variation to the still designs being submitted in this competition. The design could be implemented in a number of technological formats, that either dont or in part include flash elements.

Thanks again for all the posotive feedback
