I like to see video content from the BBC, so this design is for me really ;) - on the right there's a pannel with a tv viewer in it. I was thinking it should be in a frame (hence the scrollbar), so that you could watch tv and browse the site without disrupting the tv. TV could be started by clicking one of the tabs below it.
To the left is a big browse thing with a top story for each item, so you notice interesting things on the website and go and find out more. There's also my forum posts, as that would be quite useful.
In the middle is just news weather and sport - which is what I'd want to see on the bbc website.
Things I'd change, if I had time - it's a bit wide, and I've gone silly with the font sizes (both too big and too small). I'd probably change the weather as well, to fit in with the news and sport.
