Plain and Simple

Adam

My web page idea is that the user can personalise his or her own BBC home page where they can select which content boxes they want on their own BBC homepage. If they are a big sports fan, then maybe the first 3 boxes is football, golf and rubgy and then world news. The beauty of the site is that the user can prioritise their own daily content and when they return to the site it has remembered how the user likes to view the content.
the Beauty of the initial homepage is that it has everything and nothing at the same time. If the user wants to see more information on the weather, the deeper weather content will appear below the 7 main boxes, so the user can always QUICKLY return to another section like TV or radio without having to back track.
The Fourth content box (Chelsea flower show) is a random live content feed that changes as often as 2-3 times a minute with breaking news or features, depending on how the user wants to set it to.
All in all the whole site is Tailor made for the individual. Not so much an archive of knowledge, but a useful uptodate tool for the individual.

hope that makes some kind of sense
