Profiled BBC

Jork

Well, i think that in the near future, the contents have to be profiled (on all media), because not everyone has the same interests, and the user need to improve their experience.

With this mockup i try to show a simple way to separate the info by means of profiles, and to facilitate the navigation, with a friendly and very graphic interface, that easily fits on different operative systems.

If i had money or time, i try to bring health and food to the poorest communities in latinamerica.

This is an interesting take on the idea of a portal... Rather then offering a ton of services ala carte, you're grouping like-minded content and allowing the user to enter into their own vertical search area. the design is interesting, but the concept is what I am more impressed with. "Who are you, and how can the BBC help you, entertain you, and educate you?"

Good stuff.

Interesting approach, but what if one person would like "news", "religion" and "sports"? The site would be very ineffective to view many kinds of content.

Amazing! That looks fantastic, have you any plans for a working version? I would love to see how it would work for real.

This design is very funky and really brings out the best of the features on the BBC website

Very interesting. I think those RSS icons distract from the look of it though.

Interesting design and different. I agree with the previous poster though that the RSS buttons are distracting, if somehow made more subtle it would be better.
